The head coach of Kano Pillars Volleyball team, Musa Babamusa said his side will continue to push for the title and won’t rest on their oars.
Musa’s tutored side defeated beat Sunshine Spikers 3-1 (20-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-17) to record their first win at the second phase of the Nigeria volleyball league.
Speaking to the media after the game, Musa said, “Two years ago, Kano Pillars VC finished third place after a very tough season in Ilorin. Last year, we came close but placed second at the 2020 Super Cup held in Ilorin. This time, the title is following my team to the ancient city of Kano by the grace of God.”
