Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu is not having a good time at Genk after the fans accused him and his teammates of not trying hard for the Club.
Onuachu played all the minutes as Genk slumped to another defeat in the league on Sunday.
Genk were beaten 2-0 at Beeschot means Genk slipped down to 8th position — 13 points off the top of the table.
The supporters were visibly disappointed after the game. They accused the players of a lack of “blood, sweat and tears” in the stands.
One of the supporters wrote on his social media:
“Against the penultimate and last Brom. That’s the reality. Against Cercle there was not 1 decent chance to be played together.”
“They did what we’ve been good at for weeks, holding the ball and tapping around endlessly. On Thursday we will probably play out of the EL and the upcoming matches will not do well either, 2x Club and away at Mechelen. This is not going to get better and hope they finally take action with our board”.
