Enyimba’s goalkeeper John Noble has been called to the Super Eagles squad ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.
Noble was drafted into the squad as a replacement for the second choice Francis Uzoho who pulled out due to illness.
It is the fourth international invitation for Noble, but he’s still waiting for his debut for the three times African Champions.
He’s likely to be on the bench again when Nigeria will take on the Lone Stars of Liberia in Morroco on the 13th of November, and Cape Verde in Lagos four days later.
After four rounds of games, Nigeria is leading Group C with nine points, while Cape Verde is second with seven points.
The central African Republic and Liberia are third and fourth with just a point separating them.
