Genk’s Coach John Van de Brom has charged Paul Onuachu and his teammates to play league games with the same mentality in Europe.
Onuachu and his teammates earned an excellent result against in-form West Ham United at the Luminus Arena on Thursday.
Genk dominated the David Moyes’ side for many parts of the game but was unlucky not to come away with the maximum points.
Next for the Genkies is a domestic league encounter against Cercle Brugge at home on Sunday, and Van den Brom has charged his boys to approach the game with the same mentality.
“We still have everything in our own hands for second place. But for now, the match against Cercle Brugge is the most important. We have to take the mentality and quality to Sunday. If we bring this, we can handle everyone. Especially at home.” He stated.
Onuachu is Genk’s leading scorer with 12 goals from 10 league games.
