Watford FC Boss Claudio is confident that his team will improve when Emmanuel Dennis return from suspension.
Dennis scored one and created two assist after coming on as a second half substitute in 5-2 win over Everton at Goodison Park seven days ago.
However, the striker was missing as the Ranieri’s were beaten 1-0 by Southampton at the Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The Hornets found themselves behind at half-time thanks to Ché Adams’ smart finish from the edge of the box in the 20th minute.
Watford relied heavily on Ismaïla Sarr and fellow substitute Ashley Fletcher for goals, but they failed to hit the target.
Ranieri is eager to get back on the training pitch ahead of a clash at Arsenal next time out, and with recent absentees includingFrancisco Sierralta and Emmanuel Dennis coming back, The Italian is confident he can count on good players for the next game at Arsenal.
“We’re just going to keep working more and more. My philosophy is different to what the players are used to and it will take some time.
“With the players we have in the squad and coming back soon, I’m sure we can improve. In defence alone we are low on numbers but we have the likes of [Nicolas] Nkoulou and [Francisco] Sierralta close to full fitness.
Dennis was suspended for the game against Watford after picking up his fifth booking of the season at Everton.
