Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Leicester City’s striker Kelechi Iheanacho have joined up with Super Eagles for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic.
The FIFA U17 World Cup winners arrived at the camp of the team this afternoon to take the number of players in camp to 21.
Osimhen and Kelechi Iheanacho featured for the respective Clubs over the weekend and they are expected to lead the onslaught against Les Fauves of the Central African Republic on Thursday.
Osimhen has scored seven goals in his last six games for Napoli, while Iheanacho hit his first Premier League goal of the season in Leicester City’s 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace last Sunday.
The Super Eagles will face Raoul Savoy’s men in a double-header clash scheduled for Lagos and Doula.
The team will have their first training session at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on Tuesday evening.
