Super Eagles new boy Calvin Bassey says he is happy to be back hom after a very long time.
Bassey arrived Nigeria on Monday ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic.
The 21-year-old Glasgow Rangers left back is joining the three-time African champions for the first time.
“Hello Nigerians, good to be back home ,” The Italian born defender said in a short video posted on Nigeria Football Federation Facebook page.
The former Leicester City defender will compete with Pederbon of Germany defender Jamilu Collins for a place in the starting eleven.
