Left Back, Zaidu Sanusi left the pitch in tears on 56 minutes as FC Porto was thrashed 1-5 by Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
Sanusi was one of the culprits for Mohammed Salah’s opening goal, miscuing after his teammates had equally failed to clear their lines. Sanusi made four tackles and one interception.
Zaidu started the match, but he struggled to cope with the intensity of the rampaging Liverpool attackers led by his fellow Africans Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The young left-back was later withdrawn in the 56th minute of the encounter as Liverpool ran out 5-1 winners at the Estadio Dragao in Portugal.
It was his second start of the season, both in the Champions League.
