Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi was in action for Portuguese side FC in their champions league game against Liverpool on Tuesday.
Zaidu started the match, but he struggled to cope with the intensity of the rampaging Liverpool attackers led by his fellow Africans Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
The young left-back was later withdrawn in the 56th minute of the encounter as Liverpool ran out 5-1 winners at the Estadio Dragao in Portugal.
It was his second appearance in this season’s UEFA Champions League for Sergio Conceicao’s men.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino scored a brace each for the Reds, while Sadio Mane added the other goal.
FC Porto’s only goal of the game was scored by striker Mehdi Taremi.
