Former Napoli defender Ciro Ferrara says Victor Osimhen’s attitude made the difference for Napoli against Cagliari on Sunday.
Osimhen delivered another man of the match performance as the Partenopei defeated Cagliari 2-0 at home on Sunday night.
Osimhen scored the opener for Napoli after 11 minutes, after finishing off a Piotr Zielinski’s low cross.
Osimhen also won the penalty that led to Napoli’s second goal scored by Captain Lorenzo Insigne.
The Nigerian international was substituted in the 75th-minute after another good performance and Ferrara insists the Nigerian really played a good game.
“Osimhen’s attitude that makes the difference,” Ferrara told Dazn, as per TuttoNapoli.
“It is right that he enjoys this moment; he really played a great game, putting an important defender like Godin in difficulty.”
Osimhen has scored to six goals in his last four matches for Napoli in all competitions.
