Victor Osimhen was on target for Napoli in their Serie A game against Sampdoria on Thursday evening.
Napoli won the game 4-0 and Osimhen scored two to continue his impressive rich run of form for the club.
The Nigerian international came into the game at the back of three goals in his last two game for Napoli and should opened the scoring in 5th minute, but he failed to beat the goalkeeper in one on one situation.
Osimhen later made amend for the miss 10 minutes later when he tucked home a pass from Lorenzo Insigne.
Spanish midfielder, Fabien Ruiz scored again to make it 2-0 for the Napoli, from another Lorenzo Insigne’s assist.
Mexican winger Hirving Lozano set up Osimhen to make it 3-0 five minutes after the half time break and Piotr Zielinski completed the rout in the 77th minute.
Osimhen has now scored five goals for Napoli in all competitions this season, despite starting the season on a poor note.
