Nigeria forward Cyriel Dessers is excited to join Eredivisie outfit Feyenoord.
Dessers linked up with Feyenoord on a seaaon-long deal from Belgian Pro League outfit KRC Genk on Tuesday.
He would hope to regain his goalscoring form at De Kuip after struggling to tie down a regular place in Genk’s starting XI.
“I can write cliché things here or good English quotes, but I am seriously very proud and happy that I can take my chance at a big club like Feyenoord! See you soon at the corner flag to celebrate a goal,”he tweeted.
The 26-year-old notched one goal and two assists in six appearances across all competitions for Genk in the new campaign before his loan move.
He was joint top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie after scoring 15 goals in 26 matches for Heracles Almelo in the 2019/20 season.
