Anthony Nwaekeme was on target for Trabzonspor in their 2-1 victory over Sivasspor, in a Turkish Super Lig game week 2 fixture on Monday.
It was Nwaekeme’s first goal of the season while Trabzonspor secured their second win in as many matches of the new campaign.
The former Hapoel Beer Sheva grabbed the goal for his team in the 47th minute and it was their second goal of the game.
Anastasios Bakasetas had put Trabzonspor in front from the spot on 15 minutes. Ghana midfielder, Isaac Cofie, reduced the deficit for the visitors a few minutes later.
Nigerian internationals, Olarenwaju Kayode and Okechukwu Azubuike started the game for Sivasspor at Medical Park Stadyumu, Trabzon.
The third Nigerian on Sivasspor roaster, Leke James was an unused substitute in the game, while Okechukwu Azubuike was substituted at the 70th minute.
