Sadiq Umar has ruled out any possibility of leaving UD Almeria for another team in the current transfer window.
According to a report from Lavoz de Almeria, Umar is only thinking about staying at the Club and wants help them gain promotion to the elite division.
The Nigerian striker has attracted a lot of interest across Europe, following his impressive his performances last season with Almeria.
The former AS Roma and Glasgow Rangers forward netted 20 goals and provided 7 assists in the thirty-eight league last season.
“You have to be focused on the present. I’m here, I have a valid contract, and I’m going to play for Almería, a team that wants to be promoted to the First Division.” He said.
Sadiq Umar who has four years left on his current deal at the Spanish Segunda B side, was amongst the scorers for Almeria in their 3-1 victory over FC Cartagena last weekend.
