Paul Onuachu says he’s confident that Genk will secure a passage to the Group phase of the UEFA Champions League at the expense of Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.

Genk lost the first leg 1-2 at home and they will have to play the game of their lives to turn the tie around in Donetsk later this season.

The John van den Brom’s tutored side is boosted with the recent form of top striker Paul Onuachu who was on target in the first meeting.

Speaking at the pre match conference, Onuachu who has also scored two goals in the last two games, said he is delighted to help the team with his goals and he’s confident they can turn the results around.

“Goals are important for a striker. And I’m happy that I can help the team with that. But as a team we will have to work hard for it tomorrow. We have learned lessons from the game in Genk.”

“We have also refueled confidence by Saturday’s win. If we can stick to the game plan, it’s definitely still there. We believe we can win here.” He said.
