Tyrone Ebuehi expresses gratitude to FC Twente following Venezia move

Nigeria wingback, Tyronne Ehi Ebuehi has expressed his gratitude to FC Twente after completing his move to Venezia of Italy.

Ebuehi spent last season on loan at the FC Twente after recoveringfrom achilles ligaments injury that kept him out for almost two-year injury at Benfica.

In a post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, the 25-year-oldsaid, he’s grateful to the club for giving the opportunity to play the club.

That after two years of injury and many difficult periods in my career I was given the opportunity from FC Twente to show myself again at the highest level, I will be forever grateful to the club.”

I would also like to thank my teammates, trainers, medical/technical staff and of course the supporters of the club for last season. Unfortunately we couldn’t finish the season the way we started it and will part ways here, but I wish the club all the best,” stated the former ADO Den Haag player.

Ebuehi, joined Benfica from ADO Den Haag on 19 May 2018, signing a five-year contract with Portuguese club and missed the whole 2018‒19 season due to injury.
