Blessing Okagbare has stated that she is hopeful of replicating her national trials form at the Tokyo Olympics proper after winning the women’s 100metres final on Thursday beating her Personal best time of 10.79 seconds to run 10.63 seconds at the All Nigeria National trial at the Yabatech sports complex.
Okagbare speaking in a chat with www.brila.net after the win expressed delight at the success record and stressed that she feels like the younger Blessing again after setting a new record time.
She added that she is happy and certainly the performance is a confidence booster ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.
