Skipper Asisat Oshoala and Onome Ebi are expected to arrive at the Super Falcons training camp in USA later today.
The influential players missed the test game against Jamaica on Friday due to visa hitches.
Asisat Oshoala will be flying in from Barcelona, while Minsk defender Onome Ebi will join the team from her base in Belarus.
Reports suggest that the duo should hit the camp before the showdown agains the Portuguese, but it remain unclear if they will be selected by coach Randy Waldrum for the clash against.
Meanwhile, Bayelsa Queens midfielder Celine Ottah has joined the camp to take the number of players in camp to 24.
In the absence of the trio, Nigeria lost 1-0 to Jamaica last Thursday at the BBVA Stadium.
The squad will attempt to bounce back when they take Portugal in their second match at the 10-day Summer Series in Texas.
