Kennedy Boboye has charged his boys to leave the disappointing draw against Rangers behind and focus on next their league game.
Akwa United were forced to a goalless draw by Rangers International at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Monday.
The draw however saw the Promise Keepers reclaimed NPFL top spot from Kano Pillars, but only on superior goal difference.
Akwa United will now travel to Okigwe where they will take on Abia Warriors in another tough clash on Thursday.
Boboye has now urged the boys to move quickly from the recent set back and be ready to amend against Abia Warriors.
“We have to shift our focus to Thursday’s game against Abia Warriors in Okigwe. We are still on top but only on superior goal difference so we need to keep fighting for points in all our matches”.
“Thursday game is very important for us, so we have to do our best ” he told the club media.
