Super Sand Eagles forward Victor Tale has stated that the death of the head coach of now rested Nigeria’s Beach soccer national team Audu Adamu Ejo over the course of the weekend is a big loss to Beach soccer in Nigeria considering the sacrifices he made as head coach leading Nigeria to major competition.
Tale who also captains Nigeria National League side Kogi united said in a chat with brila.net that the demise of the coach is so painful. He added that it will be tough for Nigeria to see a coach with such a level of tolerance and calmness when it comes to inspiring players in camp when the Football Federation treats the Super Sand Eagles team with levity.
“Coach Ejo’s death is very painful because he is a man of all, he is a coach who doesn’t differentiate. He takes everybody along and makes everybody important. He doesn’t discriminate and works with every possible suggestion people around him give and that’s why his team is successful. And in Beach soccer in Nigeria, it’s a big loss. I don’t think we can have a workaholic coach like him again. Even when the Federation isn’t bringing money, he makes sure everything is in order among players.”
