Nigeria youth international Akinkunmi Amoo is delighted to find the target as Hammarby humbled Varbergs BoIS FC 3-1 in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Wednesday.
The former Golden Eaglets midfielder came on as a second-half substitute and was able to get his name on the scoresheet.
The winger was introduced for forward David Accam with 30 minutes left to play in the encounter at Varberg Energi Arena.
Albin Moerfelt netted the opener for Varbergs BoIS, before Aziz Mohammed restored parity for the away team in the 67th minute.
Mads Fenger put Hammarby ahead for the first time seven minutes later, before Akinkunmi Amoo killed off the tie for Hammarby in the first minute of additional time.
Akinkunmi Amoo has now scored three goals in the league for the coach Stefan Billborn’s side.
In his reaction after the game, Amoo said he’s delighted with the comeback win and also excited to get his third league goal of the season.
“Comeback and my third goal of the season. Team performance was great. ” He wrote on Twitter.
Hammarby are currently third on the log with 10 points from a possible 15.
