Azeez  Mohammed says he’s happy to join Nigeria professional football league side Katsina United and looking forward to helping the team retain their premier league status.

Azeez Mohammed, the ex-Hilal of Sudan boss was appointed as the new technical adviser for the Changi Boys on Monday, ahead of the second stanza of the NPFL 2020-2021 season.

His appointment was necessary after some strings of poor results by Katsina United in the Nigeria Professional Football Leagues (NPFL) first stanza.

Katsina United are currently 18th on the log with just five wins from 19 attempt and the experience gaffer is now expected to help the team move up the NPFL standings.

Speaking after his appointment, Azeez  Mohammed said he’s ready for the challenge : “When I looked at the ambition of the club, I was really attracted to Katsina United”

“I really want to be part of this team. I want to take this challenge and I’m confident that we will turn things around.” he said.

Azzezw Mohammed has managed teams like of Shabab Nasir, Almaurad, Alamir Bahrawi, Hayyal Wadi Nyala, Alamal Athbara and Wad Hashim Sinnar.
