Enyimba and Super Eagles goalkeeper John Noble has stated that Egyptian club Pyramid should be wary of the People’s Elephants after both teams were drawn to face each other in the quarter-final of the CAF Confederation cup slated for the 15th and 22nd of May 2021 respectively.
Noble speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that admittedly Pyramids are a big side and so also are Enyimba hence the mutual respect in the matchup. He added that the fixture only serves to stir up more seriousness on the part of the People’s Elephants who will now put in more work during preparation knowing the quality of their quarter-final opponent.
“I know in football anything is possible so we have to go back and put in more effort knowing fully well that we are going to play against a big side and we too are big, they are afraid of us too. In Football, no one can predict till the end of the whistle. We are going to put in hard work and we see what comes out at the end of the day.”
