Salisu Yusuf warns Rangers players against unprofessional attitudes

Rangers International of Enugu boss, Salisu Yusuf has advised his players to remain professional as they embark on seven days mid-season break.

 

The Flying Antelopes approved a one-week break for players of the club with effect from Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

 

The break will enable each player to recharge their batteries ahead in the second round of the 2020/21 NPFL season.

 

Addressing the players on Wednesday morning, the former Super Eagles coach said the club expects the players’ to remain relax, refresh and refocus in order to be in perfect shape for the second round of the league.

 

Salisu Yusuf also advised the players to maintain the level of fitness they have attained while on break warning that there will be penalties for any player that acts unprofessionally during the period.

 

“I know the level we are leaving you people and I expect to see it on your return in a week’s time. Please, be professional in all your conduct as there will be penalties for any reported unprofessional conduct during the break,” stated the vastly experienced gaffer.

 

The players are expected back in Enugu on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, with training sessions commencing Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

 

The ‘Flying Antelopes’ are currently placed 4th on the twenty-team log with 30 points from 18 matches played as the rescheduled matchday 19 fixture with oriental neighbors, Enyimba International F.C is yet to get a date from organizers of the league, L.M.C.
