Kwara United forward Micheal Ohanu says he’s happy to be back on the scoresheet after going three games without a goal, but doesn’t believe the team’s good form makes them favorite to win the league.
Ohanu, who last scored a goal against Sunshine Stars, netted the second goal for Kwara United in the 2 – 0 win over Warri Wolves last Sunday.
The Forward has now been involved in five goals (three goals and two assists) for the club this season.
“I’m so glad that am back to scoring ways, It has not been easy going few games without goal,” he told brila.net.
“We are playing well at the moment and we have to sustain the current level if we want to achieve our aims.”
The weekend success over the Seasiders returned the club back to top of the table and the fans are beginning to dream of a successful season.
When asked about the about target set for the team by the coach, Ohanu said the gaffer isn’t talking about possibilities of winning the title yet, but just helping the team to focus on each game.
“For now the coach is not talking about being the champions of the league or winning the league, we just want to stay focus and keep working hard,” Ohanu stated.
