Nasarawa united forward Hassan Adamu has stated that the Solid Miners will be back at the top despite the current setback after the Lafia based side crashed to a 2-0 defeat to Rivers united to further drop to eight on the league table after a run of three defeats in three matches.
Adamu speaking in a chat with brila.net lamented the club’s unfortunate run and stressed that ill-luck has been the bane of the team in the last three matches where they have played so well but find goal scoring tough to come by at this period.
“You know Football that is how it is but by the grace of God as soon as we win two matches now, we will go back to that top. If you look at the point, it is not too far to give up. We are still hoping to go back there by the grace of God, even the coach is encouraging us, that there is nothing to be afraid of, he knows we are playing well and the only things the goals are not forthcoming.”
