Plateau United part ways with Sunday Adetunji on mutual consent

Striker Sunday Adetunji has agreed to terminate his contract with NPFL side Plateau United.

Adetunji signed a two and half yeas deal with the club back in August 2020, but both parties have now reached agreement to part ways after just five months.

 

The Player’s Manager, Adepoju Tobi Samuel confirmed the development on his social media handle on Monday.

 

He tweeted:

Sunday Adetunji (@adetunjiS9) has terminated his two-year contract with Plateau United on mutual consent.

Adetunji joined the Jos side in August 2020. Adetunji and his management won’t make further comment on the termination.”

 

Sunday Adetunji kick started his professional career at Shooting Stars, before moving to Abia Warriors in 2016.

 

The 23-year-old highly rated forward later left Abia Warriors for two time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba International Football.

 

He also had brief spell Nigeria professional football league side Lobi stars and Czech Republic’s Primbam B
