Striker Sadeeq Yusuf says he delighted to score the winner for SunshineStars against Warri Wolves on Sunday but insists he’s not just a second half joker.
Yusuf rescued his side after coming on as a second half substitute at the Ondo State Sports Complex.
The match was heading for a draw until the sharp attacker rose above Warri Wolves defenders to head home the only goal of the game in the last minute of the added time.
Yusuf told the media, after the game, that he’s happy with the win, but he just want to continue working hard to reclaim his starting shirt.
“Am so glad we did it. Our coach has thought us everything and we put it all to use and thank God we come out victoriously.
” I am looking to force my way back into the starting XI and will continue with this form if I get into the starting line up. I am not just a second joker,” He said.
