Former Nigeria international and member of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical study group Friday Ekpo has charged Nigerian players at all levels to be proud of representing Nigeria and give their best whenever they are called upon for national duties.
Ekpo said this in a chat with www.brila.net that it is very important that players see playing for the country as an honour and set out to help achieve the various objectives of the national teams as individuals and collectively in the year 2021.
He added that players should give their best at all times to hand Nigeria the status of African giant on the field of play.
“I want to wish them the very best and make sure that each time they don the country’s colour they must always make themselves proud, play to win because nobody is there to lose.
They must always come up with brilliant performance to see them forge ahead by beating the opponent.”
