Super Eagles defender Ola Aina is excited with Fulham recent form in the premier league, after a difficult start to the season.
Aina and his teammates are yet to taste defeat in the last four matches in the premier league, including Saturday’s draw with Southampton.
Speaking to the club’s official website on the new form, Aina attributed the good runs without defeat to empathy and selflessness in the team.
“We all know how it was at the beginning of the season, so from that point to now, it just shows the hard work that we’re putting in, as well as the togetherness that we have,” Aina told fulhamfc.com.
The on loan Torino defender, also heaped praises on the forward players for helping in defending at crucial time.
“But I don’t think it’s only the back line you know, it goes throughout the team, it starts from the top.
“If it didn’t start at the top, then the opposition would get more chances on our goal, so the whole team has done well to get us these clean sheets,” he said.
Aina has been present in the Cottagers back line since making his debut for the club.
He has struck perfect understanding with Joachim Andersen and Tosin Adarabioyo.
