Rangers will be without midfielders Esor Achibong and Charles Tiesso for their NPFL opener against Rivers United.
A Club statement confirmed that Achibong and Tiesso have both been ruled out of Monday’s game due to injury picked up in training.
The Statement read:
Two players, Esor Achibong and Charles Tiesso will miss our season opening encounter with Rivers United due to injury sustained in practice matches.
Rivers United host Rangers at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in their first game of the league season.
The Port Harcourt side have been involved in this season’s CAF Confederation Cup and are aiming to reach the group stage of the competition.
