Heartland FC coach Fidelis Ilechukwu has lamented the unfortunate end to his side’s Nigeria Professional Football League opening fixture against Katsina united FC after the Owerri based side lost everything in the final three minutes of the game.
Ilechukwu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net attributes the loss to a late lapse defence after having laboured for so long in the game.
He thereafter added that he is hopeful the team can pick itself up ahead of her next league game in Owerri against Nasarawa united.
“We have learnt our lesson and taken the blame and prepare to work in any of our challenges but I’m so sad that we conceded two goals within three minutes. The error in defence is too poor, very defensive error and I am not happy considering the distance we came from for two days leaving without a point.”
