Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers says Wilfred Ndidi versatility will be an asset to his team during course of the season.
Ndidi who recently returned from injury started his 113th premier league match for the Foxes in Wednesday’s defeat to Everton and lasted for 90 minutes.
The 24-year-old was drafted into the defense along with Christian Fuchs as a replacement for the duo of Jonny Evans and Caglar Soyuncu who are struggling with injuries.
Despite the 2 – 0 defeat to Everton, Ndidi gave a good account of himself and was one of the players on the pitch for the Foxes.
”For Wilf to go in, you think he’s played there all his career. He’s playing against a top-class striker who has made great improvements in Calvert-Lewin and I thought they gave away very little.” Brenda Rodgers said.
”Wilf was outstanding in the game but I thought Wesley was very good too.”
The Super Eagles midfielder is expected to be action this weekend when Leicester City travel to London to face Tottenham Hotspurs.
