Rivers United goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has declared himself fit for the Nigeria Professional Football League side’s next fixture next week in South Africa where they play Bloemfontein Celtics in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Afelokhai speaking in a chat with brila.net said he is fit, ready, and will be available for service if called upon in the games against the South African side.
He added that he knows his services will be needed for the upcoming tie.
“It’s a game that I have to be there, and by God’s grace, I have to play. My service will be needed in that match and I know how people have been wishing me quick recovery ahead of the game and by God’s grace, with their prayer, I will be available to do what I know how to do if called that day.”
