Nigeria professional football league side Plateau United have been knocked out of 2020/21 CAF Champions League by Simba SC of Tanzania.
The Abdul Maikaba side were dumped out of the competition after a 0-0 second-leg draw in Tanzania on Saturday.
13-time Tanzanian champions, Simba SC won the first leg in Nigeria by a lone goal, and they did enough to prevent the Nigerian side from turning the table around in the second leg.
Clatus Chama scored the only goal of both legs in Nigeria last weekend and it was enough to guarde the Tanzanian outfit into the next round.
Following the elimination, Plateau United will now turn their attention to the domestic campaign.
