Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa says he’s in good shape and ready to help the team qualify for the next African cup of Nations.
Musa is currently without a club after he parted company with Saudi Arabia Premier League side Al Nassr last month.
The former Leicester winger is already in Nigeria ahead of Friday’s match against the Leone Stars, but his lack of club action has left many doubting his form.
Musa who spoke to the press when he visited the Flying Eagles training camp at the FIFA goal project in Abuja on Monday, said he is still training with his team and his form isn’t a problem.
“Although I have parted ways with my club in Saudi Arabia [Al Nassr] , I trained with them until I came down for this game. I am still myself and I will give my best on Friday,” he said.
The Super Eagles will welcome Sierra Leone to the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Friday, while the second leg will be played at the Freetown national stadium next week.
