NFF President confident Super Eagles will win next AFCON

President of the Nigeria football federation, Amaju Melvin Pinnick has once again expressed his confidence that the Super Eagles will win the next African cup of nations.

Pinnick speaking to brila.net says that the federation is more confident now looking at the crop of players discovered in the last two International friendlies played against Algeria and Tunisia in Austria.
Also speaking, he reiterated the essence of the two friendlies to players’ discoveries and not winning which, however, was achieved looking at the discovery of Zaidu Sanusi and Chidera Ejuke.
“We are more confident now that Nigeria Super eagles will go places, we will not only qualify for the nation’s cup but win it, I’m one hundred commuted by God’s grace we will win that nation’s cup.”
“We played against the African champions and they came in not because it was a friendly game but they were aiming the Fifa ranking, they came in to win while we were aiming at discovering talents for the future.”
“Next year is going to be very strong, critical and very sensitive era for football based on the number of qualifications that we are going to have both the nation’s cup qualifiers and the world cup qualifiers so, it’s going to be a very tight year, we need to have a retinue of players,” he said.
