Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Josh Maja scored for Girondins Bordeaux against Olympic Marseille on Saturday.
Maja started the game from the bench and was introduced in the second half to rescue the club salvage a point from the game.
Maja scored in the 83rd minute of the game, but his goal counted for nothing as Marseille won the meeting 3-1.
Marseille dominated the game from the blast of the whistle and went in front after the 5th minute, thanks to a goal from Florian Thauvin.
Marseille had the opportunity to increase their lead from the penalty spot two minutes later, but Florian Thauvin missed from six yards.
Amavi doubled Marseille’s lead in the 64th minute before Bordeaux conceded the third through scored an own goal from his defender Pablo.
