The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has celebrated Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa who marked his 27th birthday today, Tuesday, 14th October 2020.
The Nigeria Football Governing Body took to their verified Twitter to send their wishes to the AL Nassr winger who also earned his 93rd appearance for the country against Tunisia on Tuesday.
“Happy birthday to @NGSuperEagles captain @Ahmedmusa718. 🎂🎂🎂🎂🍾🍾🍾🍾 ” NFF wrote.
Meanwhile the former Leicester forward also celebrated the occasion with his fans via his verified Twitter handle.
He wrote:” On this day many years ago I was born. Grateful to still be standing to celebrate another year. Happy birthday to me.🎂🎉🙏 ”
Musa is the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match, after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Musa is also the first Nigerian to score in two FIFA World Cup competitions, after scoring twice against Iceland in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
He won the 2013 African cup of Nations with Nigeria and also the Saudi Premier League and Saudi Super Cup with his club Al Nassr in 2019.
