Wikki Tourists’ new signing, Andrew Abalogu has set his sights on helping the club qualify for CAF Champions League or Confederation next season.
Abalogu signed for the Kaura Boys on a twelve months loan deal from Enyimba international of Aba on Friday.
It’s the first time the multiple league winner will be playing for another team in the Nigerian professional football league since joining the Aba Elephants in 2012.
Speaking on his joining Wikki Tourists, The former Enyimba captain said: “Wikki Tourists is a good team that any player will like to wear its colors, and the opportunity is here.”
Abalogu worked under current Wikki boss Usman Abdallah during his time with Enyimba, the defender said, he’s happy to reunite with his former boss again
“We are going to give our best for the club to succeed particularly when working with an experienced Coach in person of Abd’Allah Shariff, the players affirmed.
He concluded that helping the club qualify for CAF competition remains his number one target in the coming season.
