Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong is set to make his debut for Watford on Saturday, according to Manager Vladimir Ivic.
The Nigerian international has been included in the Watford coach, Vladimir Ivic’s squad for the game against Reading at Madejski Stadium.
The former Bursaspor of Turkey player only joined the Hornets from Udinese on Wednesday and signed a 5 year deal with the club.
He trained with the team on Thursday and Friday, and coach, Vladimir Ivic, confirmed during a press conference that Ekong is in the squad for the game.
“For me, it (Saturday) is not too soon. He is ready to play and one of the solutions for us”, he said.
The arrival of Ekong at the club increased the number of Nigerian players in their rank to three, with Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru already at the club.
