Plateau United striker Mustapha Ibrahim has joined UAE side, Dibba Al Hisn ahead of the coming season.
The former El Kanemi Warriors and Enyimba International of Aba striker joined the UAE club for an undisclosed fee and the deal was made official on Friday.
The player’s representative, Mr. Ramone Remmie Ashiru, said the player had numerous offers elsewhere but decided to join Dibba Al Hisn to continue his development.
“We having several offers from Europe but won’t be possible for foreign transfer to European clubs as the EU are yet to open their embassies due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, he concluded”.
Ibrahim Mustapha last played for Plateau United in the 2019/20 season where he scored 11 goals and registered 7 assists.
Mustapha Ibrahim had his medicals on Thursday in the United Arab Emirates and he has been handed his favorite number 19 jersey by the club.
