Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Nasarawa united Bala Nkiyu has downplayed the huge hype surrounding a number of big-spending NPFL sides ahead of the return of league football and the commencement of a new NPFL season.
Nkiyu speaking in a chat with brila.net said the majority of the big named deals completed so far are players who have passed their prime and only banking on names alone.
He stressed that the coming season will prove to be one that will showcase the influence and readiness of younger unknown players to take the league by storm.
