Super Eagles duo of David Okereke and Emmanuel Dennis were in action for Club Brugge in their 4-1 win over Waasland- Beveren in the Belgian jupiler league on Saturday.
Both forwards started the game for the Phillipe Clement’s team, but it was only Okereke who got on the score sheet.
The goal was David Okereke’s first goal of the season for the club and he has played four matches in total.
The former Italian based striker scored Brugge’s third goal of the game five minutes after the break, while Dennis was yellow-carded in the 71st minutes of the encounter.
Both players were replaced in the last quarter of the game, Senegalese forward Kreppin Diatta came on for Okereke, while Charles De Ketelaere took the place of Emmanuel Denis.
Meanwhile, Hans Vanekan ( brace ) and Michael Krimencik scored the other goals for Club Brugge and Daan Heymans netted the consolation goal for the visitors.
