President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria Sam Ocheo has stated that the governing board of Handball in Nigeria is still awaiting the International Handball Federation to take delivery of the IHF’s 8000 swiss francs grant to member associations.
Ocheo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the HFN have done their part and fulfill obligations o what is necessary to have the grant and will continue to wait to take delivery of the fund meant to assist member Federations to cushion the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We’ve not gotten delivery of the grant, we’re expecting it and we’ve done everything necessary to get it. We believe IHF will redeem it words, IHF is a responsible organization they wrote to us that they will give to us so we will expect it and I guess it will come at the right time.”
