Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars Ibrahim Musa has urged the League Management Company of Nigeria to work towards having the Nigeria league start ahead of CAF club competitions.
Musa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the League organizers need to look for a way to align the league season in a way that will help ensure that NPFL representatives on the continent ave had enough game time which would help to better prepare such teams before setting out to compete on the continent.
“I am happy because I have another opportunity from last year so it’s high time for us to prepare well because the problem we have is that we are supposed to start continental within half of the season while the season is going on. Most of Nigeria’s representatives don’t start the league early so they don’t start continental with enough preparation. They start without building a good team.”
