Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars Ibrahim Musa has stated that he wants the Premier League title next after renewing his contract with the Kano based side for another year which will see him continue as coach for the 2020/2021 NPFL season.
Musa speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said he hopes to achieve the elusive league trophy which is what he hasn’t been able to win for the four-time league champions after having led the team to a Federation cup triumph, second and third place finishing in the league respectively in his three years stay at the club so far.
He added that winning the league will be for him to satisfy his desire after helping the club win what was a first Federation cup last year.
“It is time for me and my crew to work hard again to see Kano Pillars successful this year especially this tournament the NPFL so this is my target to win by the grace of God. Last time I won the Aiteo Cup and came second in the NPFL so this time around I am not looking to finish second than first, I want to win the league for myself as I won the Aiteo Cup for the first time for Pillars.”
