Ogoh hopes for the return of normal life in sports

Assistant coach of Nigeria’s men basketball national team and Rivers Hoopers coach Odaudu Ogoh has stated that he hopes normal life return in sports but that the current situation is indeed one that is terrible as everything that has been done before now has gone down the drain at club level especially with preparation underway already in anticipation of the NBA Africa champions cup.

Ogoh speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the current situation means everything done will have to be from afresh again after having lost valuable time and work while also lamenting the idle period of inactivity.
He however added that once should be grateful for life as it is only the healthy that can participate in sports.
“It means after all this break we have to go back to square one and start work all over again. So for us, it’s very terrible. But in all that is happening though, in all the disappointment and everything, I’m still of the opinion that health matters first, if you’re not healthy you cannot be part of a team so this is beyond us and there is nothing we can do about it. So let’s just pray to God that that normal time returns back.”
