“I don’t want to wait that long”, Dessers urges Heracles to sort out his future quickly

Super Eagles of Nigeria and Heracles Almelo striker Cyriel Dessers said he wants his future to sorted out quickly before the transfer window is open.

The Belgian born Netherlands Eredivisie top scorer has reportedly attracted from Ajax Amsterdam, PSV Eindhoven, and other top clubs in Europe.

The 25-year-old striker was linked with  a move to Genk FC of Belgium last week, but the striker has now revealed that he doesn’t want his future to drag for so long in the media.

“I hope there will be news soon. I don’t want to drag and wait all summer. Without corona it would have been very different, I think now the market is so uncertain, everything is uncertain.” He told Tubantia.

Dessers added that he’s confident of making the right choice at the end, but urged Heracles to make their intentions know.

“With the transfer I made before, I really relied on my gut feeling. The feeling must be top. I read somewhere that they want to extent the transfer period to October, they can do that but really, i don’t want to wait that long and be uncertainty.” He concluded.

Dessers recently switched allegiance to Nigeria and was invited players to the super eagles by Gernot Rohr to face Sierra Leone national team in the Africa cup of nations double header qualifiers in March and April before the match was postponed till further notice due to the emergence of Covid-19 pandemic.
