Heartland Fc and Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has called on the League management company to call off the league and award the title to league leaders Plateau United.
Ezenwa called for the canceling of the league due to the rising numbers of cases and death caused by the ravaging coronavirus.
Speaking to www.brila.net exclusively, Ezenwa said the Nigerian football supporters across the country will not adhere to any social distancing order if matches are to be played.
“The fans will be angry if they are not allowed to see or touch their stars, and this is against the NCDC orders; It is best to cancel the league and hand the title to Plateau United in my opinion.
